Anti-Bullying Week
GHF focus on ABW and Change Starts With Us
On Monday the 11th to Friday the 15th of November, GHF school focused on Anti-Bullying Week. On Monday we started learning about anti-bullying and how we can make a change. We listened to a special assembly led by Mrs Stylianides where she spoke about why anti-bullying week is so important and why it’s so good that we are all unique. In the assembly, we spoke about what we can do or change to stop bullying. Making the change is everyone’s responsibility and all it takes is small steps of kindness. On Tuesday, we wore odd socks to show that we are all unique and special and that should be celebrated. On Thursday, Sendak class gave a special assembly all about bullying and how it can be prevented.

Change Starts With Us
Change starts with: kindness, care, respect, including everyone, a smile, a compliment, friendship. Everyone should make changes – grown-ups as well as children. We can all play our part.
