Young Voices 2017 was one of the best years yet and GHF was one of the schools participating in this amazing event. At 11:30am we set off to Sheffield Arena and once we were there, we had our lunch. Afterwards, rehearsals began with our conductor David Laurence and the band. This year there were some amazing songs but everyone’s favourite was the pop medley, with songs from artists like Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift and Owl City. We also performed some songs with celebrities from the UK, such as singer Natalie Williams. After rehearsals and our tea, parents and the rest of the audience arrived ready for the full concert. About 5,200 primary pupils from took part in this amazing performance and this was one to remember. It is also great that Young Voices donate money from tickets to charities such as Cancer Research.
